
Elisa de Campos Borges
Holds a Bachelor's degree in History from the Federal University of Goiás (2000), a Master's degree in Social History from PUC-SP (2005), and a PhD in Social History from Fluminense Federal University (2011), with a research stage at the University of Santiago, Chile (Usach). Her research focuses on the history of the Americas, addressing themes related to Social History, Political History, and Cultural History, with an emphasis on topics such as revolutions, the left, social movements, political movements, the daily life of workers, political parties, military dictatorship, political transitions to democracy, culture, cinema, and politics. She participates in the Observatório do Tempo Presente (UFF), the Research Group in Intellectual History (UFMG), and the Núcleo de Estudos Contemporâneos (NEC-UFF). She is currently an Associate Professor in the History Program (undergraduate and graduate) at Fluminense Federal University (UFF). She has published articles, book chapters, and books in her field of expertise.
