About
Professor at the State University of Paraná (UNESPAR), Campo Mourão campus. He holds a PhD (2018) and an MA (2010) in Social History from the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro, where he also earned a BA in History (2007). During his doctoral studies, he completed a sandwich doctoral research stay at the Institut des Hautes Études de l'Amérique latine / Université Paris 3 – Sorbonne Nouvelle, with FAPERJ Nota 10 and PDSE/CAPES fellowships.
He conducted postdoctoral research in the Graduate Program in History at Fluminense Federal University (2019–2024), with a PNPD/CAPES fellowship. He was a substitute professor of Brazilian History at UFF (2018), historian at the Niterói Art Foundation (2008–2017), and research analyst for the National Truth Commission (2014).
He is a member of the Center for Contemporary Studies (NEC/UFF), the Right-Wing Politics, History, and Memory Network (DHM/CNPq), the Oral History and Memory Center (TEMPO/UFRJ), and the Association pour la Recherche sur le Brésil en Europe. He is the founder and coordinator of the website História da Ditadura and has helped create science communication projects in public history and digital media.
He is the author of books published by Record and co-edited the catalogue AI-5 50 anos: Ainda Não Terminou de Acabar, winner of the Jabuti Award in the Arts category (2020).
