Camilo Domingues, PhD
About
He holds a PhD (2020) and an MA (2015) in History from the Graduate Program in History at Fluminense Federal University (PPGH-UFF). During his doctoral studies, he conducted research abroad at Université Paris-Est Marne-la-Vallée (2017–2018), within the framework of the CAPES/COFECUB agreement.
He holds a BA in Performing Arts – Theater Performance from the School of Theater at the Federal University of Bahia, and a teaching degree in History from the Faculty of Philosophy and Human Sciences at the same institution. He began his academic career with an undergraduate research project on the Theater of the Oppressed (2008–2009).
He completed Russian language training at the Pushkin Institute in Moscow and the Derzhavin Institute in Saint Petersburg (2018).
He is a member of the Laboratory for Asian Studies (LEA-USP) and the EUROPA Research Group – Center for Studies in Modern and Contemporary History (PPGH-UFF). He is currently a Visiting Scholar at the Davis Center for Russian and Eurasian Studies at Harvard University.
