Gabriel da Fonseca Onofre, PhD
About
Gabriel Onofre holds a PhD and an MA in History from Fluminense Federal University, where he also earned a BA in History. During his doctoral studies, he conducted a research stay at the Hoover Institution, with an International Scholar Research Support fellowship from Stanford University.
He is conducting postdoctoral research in the Graduate Program in History at Fluminense Federal University (PPGH/UFF), where he develops research on anti-communism and the Cold War in the Global South.
He is a teacher at Colégio Pedro II, working in basic education, teacher training, and graduate studies in History.
He is the author of books and teaching materials approved by the National Textbook Program (PNLD). He is a member of the Asian Studies Group (GEA/UFF) and the Research Center for Right-Wing Politics, History, and Memory.
