Juliana Marques holds a PhD (2023) and an MA (2019) in History from Fluminense Federal University (UFF), and a BA in History from the Federal University of São Paulo (2016). Her doctoral dissertation received the PPGH-UFF Best Dissertations Award (2024).
She is conducting postdoctoral research in History at UFF, with a FAPERJ Nota 10 fellowship. She is a visiting researcher at the University of Birmingham through the Brazil Institute Visiting Fellows Scheme.
She is the author of the book Guerrilheiras: memórias da ditadura e militância feminina (Alameda, 2022).
She is an associate researcher at the Laboratory for Research and Teaching Practices in History (LPPE/UERJ).
