Full Professor of Contemporary History at the Institute of History and the Graduate Program in History at Fluminense Federal University. She holds a Bachelor's degree in History from Fluminense Federal University (1987), a Master's degree in History from Fluminense Federal University (1992), a PhD in History from Fluminense Federal University (1998), a postdoctoral fellowship in History from the University of Paris X (2007), and in Sociology from the University of Campinas (Unicamp) (2007), postdoctoral research in History from the University of São Paulo (USP) (2013), and postdoctoral research in History at the University of Brasília (UnB) (2018). She is a Researcher 2 at CNPq and a FAPERJ researcher (Scientist of Our State). She is also a researcher at the Núcleo de Estudos Históricos (NEC-UFF) and at Europa: Núcleo de Estudos em História Moderna e Contemporânea (CNPq interinstitutional research group). She is a member of the Network for the Study of Fascisms, Authoritarianisms, Totalitarianisms, and Transitions to Democracy (REFAT) in Portugal, Spain, and Italy, and a member of the Scientific Committee of REFAT. Her research focuses on Contemporary History, particularly on the following themes: Europe, 1922-45: fascism, nazism, and nazifascism, World War II, Europe under occupation, Vichy France, Resistance, collaboration, memory; museums and memorials of the Resistance to Nazi occupation and Nazism: France, Italy, the Netherlands, Germany, and Poland.
