About
Retired Full Professor of Contemporary History at the Institute of History and in the Graduate Program in History at Fluminense Federal University (UFF), she holds a PhD in History from the same institution.
She completed postdoctoral research at the University of Paris X, the State University of Campinas (Unicamp), the University of São Paulo (USP), and the University of Brasília (UnB). She is a CNPq Level 2 Research Fellow and is a member of international research networks such as REFAT and the Red de Investigación Derechas, Historia y Memoria (DHM).
Her research focuses on Contemporary History, with an emphasis on political exile during the Brazilian military dictatorship, twentieth-century European authoritarian regimes — especially fascism and Nazism — and the politics of memory, particularly museums and memorials in Europe dedicated to the Resistance, Nazism, and communism.
